Stellantis Hires Roland Bouchara as CEO & MD for its Indian Operation

Auto Major Stellantis India & Asia Pacific names Roland Bouchara as CEO & Managing Director for Stellantis in India. In his new role, Roland would be responsible for the Jeep and Citroën national sales companies (NSCs), along with the group’s manufacturing operations, states the company.

Roland has been leading the Citroën India operations in his capacity as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the brand since 2017. He monitored the end-to-end execution of the recent launch of the Citroën brand as well as its first product in India that is the new Citroën C5 Aircross.

Roland bring in a strong and diverse experience in international automotive and consulting businesses. Before joining Groupe PSA in 2017, Roland served in various key leadership positions at Renault including, Managing Director UK, Head of Europe NSCs (Germany, UK, Spain & Italy), and SVP Sales & Marketing for APAC and China.

The Amsterdam-based Stellantis is a multinational automotive manufacturer that formed in 2021 on the basis of a 50:50 cross-border merger between the Italian-American Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and the French PSA Group.

Roland possesses a deep commercial experience to his new role and it would be interesting to see how he helps in evolving and expanding Stellantis’ brands, network, and business operations in India - a key growth market for the company across the globe.
